About Mike

I'm Mike Launder, an Australian landscape photographer drawn to the quieter, moodier side of the landscape — from rugged coastlines and misty forests to waterfalls, mountains and rural Australia.

Photography has become much more than simply capturing beautiful places. It's a way for me to slow down, clear my head and connect with the world around me. My own experiences with mental health and ADHD have shaped the way I see and experience the landscape, and increasingly, I want my images to be about more than a location — I want them to convey a feeling.
